Medical Crew

The Medilink International Air Ambulance team of doctors, nurses and specialised therapists is led by our Chief Medical Officer (CMO) Dr Josef Zahra, an experienced medic with specialist expertise in anaesthesia, ALS, aeromedical medicine, A&E, transfer & trauma medicine. The Chief Medical Officer has overall responsibility for our medical team providing guidance and leadership, and advising on all operational medical issues. He is also responsible for clinical governance and all physician recruitment to ensure continuity in standards and on-board procedures and reliable medical crew member availability. All personnel participate in a continuous training program focused on delivering constant improvements to our services and efficiency to ensure we exceed client expectations.
